About Toprion

Toprion is the international business arm of MDL, responsible for global client engagement and project coordination in preclinical research.

MDL is a preclinical CRO and CDMO platform headquartered in Beijing, with established infrastructure supporting drug discovery, preclinical evaluation, and process development. Its facilities include a 6,000 m² operational site and a 33,000 m² GLP-standard facility, fully constructed and currently undergoing GLP certification, equipped with pharmacology, drug metabolism, and safety evaluation platforms.

Through MDL, Toprion provides access to a broad portfolio of preclinical capabilities, including over 600 validated animal models across oncology, immunology, metabolic diseases, CNS disorders, and other therapeutic areas.

To date, MDL has supported 1,700+ clients and completed 12,000+ study projects, across multiple therapeutic areas and study types, with a team of 100+ researchers.

As the overseas-facing team, Toprion serves as the interface between international clients and MDL’s scientific teams, ensuring alignment across communication, project coordination, and study execution.

All studies are conducted within MDL’s research facilities, ensuring consistency, quality control, and data reliability.
